Description

Objective:

To give government employees an overview of leadership concepts and competencies that will promote individual excellence and provide insights and skills for participants to lead others and help organizations realize amazing results even outside of positions of official authority.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Provide workable solutions to difficult situations related to personality conflicts and working preferences
  • Apply skills that bring peers and other staff together to complete work projects
  • Recognize the high correlation between physical and mental well-being and its impact on mental agility and individual work performance
  • Utilize how the broad perspective of current government issues and concerns impacts their organizations
  • Apply information obtained through personal assessment tools to improve relationships in the work environment
  • Apply behavior change concepts to work environments based upon an understanding of how and why others approach and interpret events differently, and the value of such diversity including generational diversity
  • Enhance their ability to exhibit leadership capabilities and project organizational vision and values
