Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce command officers to the complexities involved in commanding incidents in high-risk areas.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop an effective incident organization to assemble, coordinate, and control tactical resources, allowing for expansion based on complexity of the incident
  • Make sound, effective and timely decisions to support operations when faced with complex situations
  • Develop an effective incident organization to assemble, coordinate, and control tactical resources and implement a plan of action based on critical cues, information gathered, and critical elements presented in simulated major fire scenarios
  • Apply the appropriate techniques to document incidents
