Description

Objective:

The course objective is to familiarize students with each targeting task, to include collecting data and exploiting a targeted threat, using all targeting systems in the air, land, and sea passenger or cargo environment.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Collect information following the Intel Targeting Cycle and the National Security Cargo Targeting Procedures Directive
  • Exploit a potential threat using the Intel Targeting Cycle and National Directives
  • Prepare legally defensible findings and reports

General Topics:

  • High level overviews of available CBP targeting systems, navigation of vetted practical exercises, preparing an Information Action Report and presentation of findings related to a target identified through collection of information and exploitation of findings developed through the proper application of the targeting cycle
