Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide Air and Marine Agents with the foundational law enforcement skills to become part of a dynamic, well-trained, well-equipped workforce with Air and Marine Operations (AMO). The mission of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) AMO is to safeguard our nation by anticipating and confronting security threats through our aviation and maritime law enforcement expertise, innovative capabilities, and partnerships at the border and beyond.

Learning Outcomes:

Support the CBP Air and Marine Operations mission to safeguard our nation by anticipating and confronting security threats through our aviation and maritime law enforcement expertise, innovative capabilities, and partnerships at the border and beyond
Prevent the import/export of illegal merchandise and contraband
Predict, detect, identify, classify, track, deter, and interdict threats to the continuity of border security of the United States
Safeguard our homeland through the coordinated application of aviation and maritime law enforcement resources within the air, sea, and land
Provide aviation and maritime expertise to search and rescue operations, federal disaster relief, humanitarian relief, and terror threat response.
