Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide Air Interdiction Agents (AIAs), Marine Interdiction Agents (MIAs) and Aviation Enforcement Agents (AEAs) with the basic law enforcement skills needed to support the mission of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) to safeguard our nation by anticipating and confronting security threats through our aviation and maritime law enforcement expertise, innovative capabilities, and partnerships at the border and beyond.

  • Support the AMO’s mission to protect the American people and critical infrastructure as a member of an integrated and coordinated air and marine force to detect, interdict, and prevent acts of terrorism arising from unlawful movement of people, illegal drugs, and other contraband moving toward or crossing the borders of the United States.
