Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide Air Interdiction Agents (AIAs), Marine Interdiction Agents (MIAs) and Air Enforcement Agents(AEAs) with the law enforcement skills needed to support CBP's anti-terrorism mission at U.S. borders including air-to-ground and maritime interception of people and contraband crossing the border and to provide support for CBP's traditional work such as border interceptions unrelated to terrorism.

Learning Outcomes:

  • support the CBP Air and Marine mission and offices in the effort to protect the American people and critical infrastructure as a member of an integrated and coordinated air and marine force to detect, interdict, and prevent acts of terrorism arising from unlawful movement of people, illegal drugs, and other contraband moving toward or crossing the borders of the United States.
  • Facilitate the flow of lawful goods and items in and out of the country
  • Support the CBP mission and offices in the effort to detect and interdict terrorists and instruments of terror
