Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide a general overview of ammunition and explosives regulations and practices for members of Army Career Program 12 (Safety and Occupational Health) and to introduce explosives safety professionals to the principles of Explosives Safety Program Management.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Differentiate between Explosives Safety Program (ESP) and Explosives Safety Program Management (ESPM)
  • Discuss the components and responsibilities of ESPM
  • Explain the specific components of the Cardinal Rule of Explosives Safety
  • Describe the Logistics Review and Technical Assistance Office's (LRTAO) role in explosives safety
  • List references and resources available to the ESPM
