Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide TSOs with OJT before they are allowed to make independent judgments with respect to screening persons and property for entry into airport sterile areas or clearing checked baggage.

  • Display command presence helps the officer portray themselves as someone in a position of authority
  • Demonstrate and perform skills that achieve the objectives of each classroom lesson

  • Exhibit command presence through appearance, conduct, and demeanor
  • Review records regularly and address all concerns immediately
  • Complete the OJT in a timely manner and must align with the trainee's projected completion date
