Description

Objective:

The course objective is to design and develop a TSA course lesson, which the students deliver on the final day of the course. During the 5-day program, students learn principles, methods and techniques that are important to their success as instructors.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate the ten principles of adult learning and motivation in an instructional session
  • Write performance objectives that are a clear statement of what the student will be required to do at the end to achieve the terminal performance objective of the lesson
  • Demonstrate the steps for creating a power point presentation
  • Select the type of assessment to assess student mastery of the instructional session
  • Employ delivery techniques that will enhance student learning
  • Employ techniques to manage disruptive student behavior in order to enhance learning in accordance with proven classroom management and adult learning methodologies
