Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide the skills and knowledge required for Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) as described in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1003. Participants who successfully complete the course and pass a written exam and skills testing will receive a National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) certification.

  • Navigate an airport facility to safety and efficiently respond to an aircraft- or airport-related facility emergency
  • Safely conduct forcible entry, ventilation, and rescue operations on small-, medium-, and large-frame aircraft
