Description

Objective:

Upon the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to test four types of backflow prevention assemblies and determine repair needs based on test results.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to discuss the need for backflow prevention.
  • Participants will be able to discuss the theory of backflow and cross-connections.
  • Participants will be able to test the mechanical equipment for cross-connection control.
  • Participants will be able to identify state requirements for backflow prevention.
