Objective:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to apply techniques that will allow for the proper operation and maintenance of a wastewater collection system.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to recognize the importance of wastewater collection.
  • Participants will be able to describe state regulatory requirements concerning the collection of wastewater.
  • Participants will be able to describe the design of a wastewater collection system.
  • Participants will be able to discuss the process in constructing a collection system.

  • Participants will be able to describe the methods in the maintenance and operation of the collection system.
