Description

Objective:

The course objective is to educate law enforcement and non-commissioned personnel assigned to latent print examination. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to complete a basic fingerprint comparison and to justify their conclusions.

Learning Outcomes:

  • describe the history and science of fingerprint analysis and comparison
  • complete the first step of the ACE-V method, analysis
  • complete the second and third step of the ACE-V method, comparison and evaluation
  • complete the last step of the ACE-V method, verification
