Description

Objective:

The course objective is to give the student the knowledge to identify and apply basic weapons safety practices, and demonstrate proficiency in safely operating an M4 rifle and a Caracal pistol.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explain the basic characteristics and capabilities of the M4 weapons system
  • Demonstrate the ability to properly operate and maintain the M4 weapons system
  • Explain the basic fundamentals of rifle marksmanship
  • Demonstrate weapons proficiency with the M4 rifle
  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently apply and be cognizant of weapons-safety practices
  • Explain the basic characteristics and nomenclature of the caracal model F weapon system
  • Demonstrate the ability to properly operate and maintain the caracal pistol
  • Explain the basic fundamentals of handgun marksmanship
  • Demonstrate weapons proficiency with the caracal pistol
