Objective:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to make calculations needed to properly operate water and wastewater systems.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to calculate area, volume, and capacity of water and wastewater structures.
  • Participants will be able to calculate amount of materials used in water and wastewater treatment.
  • Participants will be able to calculate mathematical problems specific to flow and water pressure.
  • Participants will be able to calculate mathematical problems specific to pipe flow and replacement.
  • The participant will be able to calculate mathematical problems related to pumps and motors.
  • The participant will be able to calculate mathematical problems specific to wastewater systems.
