Description

Objective:

The course objective is to analyze how ethics pertain to individuals, leaders and organizations in business. Students will also examine a variety of current ethical issues in the business world.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Analyze ethical issues in organizations and in the workplace, applying ethical theories and principles to find solutions
  • Evaluate the role of a personal framework for values in making decisions as an individual and/or leader or manager
  • Assess the influence of organizational values on the ethical behavior of organizational citizens.
  • Describe how organizations consider and navigate global and environmental ethical issues during decision-making
  • Analyze the impact of corporate social responsibility on contemporary organizations and their interests
