Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to the basics of microbiology. Students taking this course will learn about the various types of microorganisms, the diseases caused by microorganisms, laboratory methods for studying microorganisms, ways in which microorganisms are useful within and outside of the body, and how our immune systems fight microorganisms.
