Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to basic aspects of the Spanish language. In this course, students will learn about the relationship between nouns and gender as well as how to discuss topics such as the weather, likes and dislikes, the days of the week, months of the year, and how to tell time.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Use vocabulary for pastimes, vacationing, shopping, and people's likes and dislikes in Spanish
  • Express basic everyday life situations related work, school, etc. routine as well as common needed expressions in casual conversation
  • Demonstrate the formal and informal ways to greet and introduce people in Spanish
