Description

Objective:

The course objective is to identify and explain modern civilization's origins as an agrarian society in Mesopotamia and the rise of communities, cities, colonies and countries. From Grecian city-states to the Roman Empire, from medieval times to the Renaissance, through revolution, industry and war, this course supplements students' knowledge of these historical events with a comprehensive understanding of how and why they happened.
