Description

Objective:

This course helps students develop transferable writing skills by exploring the steps of the writing process through various rhetorical modes, including narration, persuasion, compare/contrast, and argument. Students will engage in a robust writing experience, focusing on drafting, revising, and refining their work to enhance clarity, coherence, and readability. The course also emphasizes critical analysis of professional texts and the integration of credible sources using Modern Language Association (MLA) formatting guidelines. Through reflection on their writing process, students will refine their strategies for effective communication across different contexts.
