Description

Objective:

The College Algebra examination is designed to measure examinees' knowledge and skills in college algebra. The knowledge and skills measured are consistent with those typically taught in intermediate level college courses and are consistent with this level of difficulty and complexity.

Skills Measured:

This examination requires the examinee to demonstrate an understanding of basic geometry and algebraic operations; equations and inequalities in one variable; polynomial equations and inequalities; graphs; functions; operations on functions and analyzing graphs; graphing polynomial and rational functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; systems of equations and inequalities; and sequences and series.
