The course objective is to learn about the college environment by gaining conceptual knowledge and employing practical strategies. The course is especially helpful to first-generation and international students and anyone looking for tips on preparing for college academically and otherwise.

  • SDV100: College Success offers an orientation to the college environment to equip students with the basic academic, professional, and personal skills they need to succeed in college. Students will learn how to manage their personal space and time, consider what it means to be career-ready, improve their academic performance, and communicate with their instructors. The course will help them manage stress and anxiety and improve overall health. The course offers a valuable toolkit to help learners prepare for their careers after college.
