Description

Objective:

The course objective is to take a multifaceted look at leadership, beginning with a history of "leadership" as a concept and the evolution of leadership theory. Students explore why leaders are made, not born, and how leaders develop a skill set to be effective in different situations. Students consider how leaders both embody and shape organizational culture, values, and ethics. Students also develop a personal leadership plan with their personal style and vision of leadership that is appropriate to the diverse and dynamic modern workplace.
