Objective:

This course has been replaced with SOPH-0051 SOCI1010 Introduction to Sociology. The course objective is to gain mastery of basic principles of sociology. Students will learn variety of topics, including sociological theory, cultural deviance, social interaction, diversity, stratification, as well as education, technology, and health in modern society. Students will demonstrate the application of these topics in sociology to everyday situations.
