Description

Objective:

A Mission Residency is the opportunity to apply the methods and skills you learned in Mission by Design to an actual design opportunity during the internship. This is the hands-on applied learning putting ideas into action with a final presentation to showcase what has been designed and prototyped.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop a project plan that outlines timeline, tasks, deliverables, and anticipated support needed during the residency
  • Present professional business pitches, addressing each of the three levels (desirability, viability, feasibility) scoring an average of 80% or higher on the final presentation rubric.
