Objective:

This examination is a multiple-choice exam designed to enable schools to award credit to students for knowledge equivalent to that learned by students taking the course. The exam covers topics including ancient world; middle ages; renaissance; baroque, rococo, and neoclassicism; romanticism and realism; impressionism and post-impressionism; early twentieth century; postwar to postmodern; and contemporary.
