Description

Objective:

This examination is a multiple-choice exam designed to evaluate whether candidates possess the knowledge and understanding that would be gained by taking an upper-level college course in fundamentals of cyber security. Content specifications for the exam were developed and approved by a panel of subject matter experts, all U.S. accredited college faculty members who are teaching or have taught a like course within the prior 3 years.

Skills Measured:

The skills measured include application and systems security (15 percent); authentication, authorization and access controls (12 percent); policies, compliance and governance (12 percent); operational security (10 percent); network security (20 percent); vulnerability management (15 percent), physical and environmental security (6 percent); and disaster recovery and business continuity (10 percent).
