Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to the fundamentals of business and data analytics. It aims to develop their understanding of analytics in the context of a business and to provide a framework for students to apply topics such as framing a business problem, stakeholder analysis, data wrangling using Google Sheets, data visualizations, descriptive statistics, exploratory data analysis, and data storytelling in business. After this course, students will be able to clean, visualize, analyze, and communicate data insights to stakeholders. The course culminates with a hands-on final project in which students will perform an end-to-end exploratory data analysis (EDA) using real industry data.
