Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce the principles and sources of law relevant to procurement, including fiscal law, fraud, disputes, performance, assignment, and other contract issues.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Discuss the legal and ethical principles that apply to government contracts
  • Identify processes by which federal acquisitions may be challenged
  • Define the legal obligations of both parties when a contract performance issue arises
  • Discuss format dispute resolution procedures under the Contract Disputes Act statute
