Description

Objective:

The course objective is to empower students with the ability to create and sustain a fire-adapted community (FAC) located within a wildland urban interface (WUI). Students will learn how to convene a community coalition that will suggest the use of broad-based fire mitigation strategies, resulting in the development of a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).
