Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide FEMA staff and other Federal and State, Tribal, and Territorial staff with an orientation to the request for Federal assistance process and the Mission Assignment (MA) concepts, policy, and guidance and knowledge to carry out their assigned program and financial responsibilities as they relate to MA processing.

  • Describe the MA Process and MA categories.
  • Describe the process of requesting Federal assistance using the Resource Request Process.
  • Identify steps in billing, reimbursement, and closeout.
