Objective:

The course objective is to provide the participants with the knowledge and confidence to understand the basic organization and terminology of the CRS and the organization of the CRS Coordinator’s Manual, along with understanding of how to improve community programs and receive CRS credit.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explain the role of the community and the community CRS Coordinator.
  • Identify the activities for which communities can receive credit.
  • Identify criteria and documentation needed for CRS activity credit.
  • Explain how the Community Rating System operates.
  • Explain how CRS credit points and impact adjustments are calculated.
