Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide Project Managers (PMs), Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Business Managers, and other support personnel with the knowledge and skills to determine if a performance-based service acquisition (PBA) meets mission requirements and convert an existing contract to a PBA. Participants perform a job analysis, define performance standards, and expected outcomes, develop a performance requirements summary matrix and define acceptable quality levels, surveillance methods and incentives. At the end of the course, they develop a Performance Work Statement (PWS) and a statement of objectives (SOO) that will convert an existing effort to a PBA. NSA Subject Matter Experts teach the course and share their successful experiences with PBAs.
