The skills measured include understanding network infrastructures such as the internet, intranet, extranet, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless networking, and networking topologies and access methods; understanding network hardware such as switches, routers, and types; and understanding protocols and services such as OSI model, IPv4, IPv6, names resolution, and networking services.
