The Certified Secure Computer User Exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and lasts two hours. It requires certified candidates to demonstrate knowledge and skills in protecting their information assets. Candidates are also introduced to various computer and network security threats, such as identity theft, credit card fraud, online banking phishing scams, viruses and backdoors, email hoaxes, loss of confidential information, hacking attacks, and social engineering.
This exam measures skills in data security, including an introduction to operating systems, malware, and antivirus, internet security, security on social networking sites, email communications, mobile devices, the cloud, network connections, data backup, disaster recovery, IoT devices, and gaming consoles, and secure remote working.
