Objective:

The course objectives are to select the best approach or approaches for purpose-driven programming; develop market-driven special event or program; apply traditional project management methods to programs and events; create new opportunities for forging internal and external partnerships to improve programming; evaluate risk factors that affect program success; leverage the power of team dynamics and diversity to achieve innovation; apply creative thinking techniques to innovative programming design; explore the value and innovative project planning; create an innovative and creative special event project or service; communicate the project by implementing selling as marketing sales techniques; and develop and implement promotion strategies to successfully market the event.
