Description

Objective:

To provide the systems thinking, resource management, program delivery, and leadership tools to run a quality program that meets Army Community Service (ACS) standards and installation needs.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Appraise personal leadership skills and compare those with high performing leadership model
  • Analyze and project future trends in ACS and develop strategies for programming
  • Develop strategies to leverage personnel, finances, facilities and other ACS resources to maximize programs and service in a changing environment
  • Conduct a SWOT analysis of an ACS program and using a decision making model recommend actions to leverage resources for turning threats into opportunities and weakness into strengths
  • Evaluate program results against applicable Army and ACS standards and metrics
  • Develop internal and external partnerships and develop innovative approaches to programs and services
