Description

Objective:

The course objective is to explore the complexity of an evolving Family and MW R environment and advance the skills required to manage and lead an agile and resilient organization ready to meet the challenges and maximize the opportunities of serving Soldiers and families. The curriculum focuses on balancing the tension between long-term program goals and short-term pressures through the core competencies: Leading People, Change and Continuous Improvement, Business and Technical Proficiency, and Drive for Results.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop strategies to improve Family and MWR processes, products, programs, and services
  • Create operational and tactical strategies to achieve Family and MWR organizational outcomes through inspired leadership
  • Synthesize strategic guidance to ensure business plans are in alignment with Installation management vision and direction
  • Develop strategies to leverage human, financial and technology resources to maximize programs and services in an 'extreme environment' (aka a fundamentally different fiscal reality)
