Description

Objective:

To provide knowledge of youth and adolescent program standards, coaching and mentoring skills, and tools that will enable them to create an effective training program, build positive relationships; focus on customer needs, and implement effective programming.

Learning Outcomes:

Demonstrate observation and feedback skills, define the roles and responsibilities of the TAPS, and apply knowledge of youth and adolescent growth and development
Demonstrate knowledge of program tools and initiatives that support programming and training
Apply the theories of situational leadership, adult learning, coaching, and personality type
Implement the Army school-age, middle school, and teen foundation training program and use the individual development plan as a tool
