Description

Objective:

To define the roles and responsibilities of the training and curriculum specialist in the Child and Youth Services (CYS) structure and to apply knowledge of early childhood, growth and development in conducting training for child development service direct care staff.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply the theories of situational leadership, adult learning, coaching, and personality type
  • Demonstrate feedback skills, define the roles and responsibilities of the TACS, and apply knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and evaluation tools
  • Use individual development plans
  • Complete Child Development Associate Credential Representative training
  • Demonstrate knowledge of program tools and initiatives
  • Implement the Army CYS Foundation Level Training Program
