Description

Objective:

The course objective is to gain an understanding of electrical motor controls, print reading foreman training, and application labs.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand and utilize the information located on building system drawings (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) to properly install electrical systems on a construction project
  • Generate simple control circuit diagrams
  • Display a deeper understanding on grounding and bonding
  • Explain the methods used for the first installment of motor controls
  • Conduct and perform different hands-on electrical labs safely.
