Description

Objective:

The course objective is to interpret blueprints and construction drawings and properly install electrical wiring for single phase and three phase motors and their controls as well as jobsite safety practices.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and implementation of electrical grounding and bonding techniques according to industry standards and safety protocols
  • Interpret and analyze electrical prints, schematics, and diagrams to effectively plan and execute electrical projects
  • Design, install, and troubleshoot basic motor control systems, including circuit components and protection devices
  • Perform hands-on laboratory exercises to demonstrate proficiency in electrical installation, testing, and maintenance procedures
  • Apply project planning principles to organize, sequence, and coordinate electrical installations while maintaining compliance with relevant codes and standards
