Description

Objective:

This Knowledge Certificate is earned by passing a proctored exam designed to test an individual's comprehension of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and constitutes evidence that a test candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to receive certification. Testing objectives are measurable statements of action that describe what the examinees are expected to do to demonstrate acceptable mastery and to be considered minimally competent.

Skills Measured:

This examination requires candidates to demonstrate a firm understanding of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and the following skills: assess your own paradigms and align them to principles of effectiveness; assume responsibility, focus, and act on what can be controlled and influenced; define clear measures of success and create a plan to achieve them; prioritize and achieve the most important goals instead of reacting to urgencies; and collaborate more effectively with others by building high-trust relationships. Successful examinees will further be able to define what influences others by developing a deep understanding of their perspectives; identify innovative solutions that value diversity and satisfy all key stakeholders; increase motivation, energy, and work/life balance by making time for renewal; and recognize growth attributes relative to leadership skills such as responsibility, initiative, personal vision, time management, emotional intelligence, relationships, negotiation, communication, valuing differences, collaboration, and wellness.
