Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to the field of criminology by exploring the psychological, biological, and sociological factors that contribute to criminal behavior. Students will examine how these influences shape crime patterns, guide investigation and justice processes, and inform policy responses. The course emphasizes the development and evaluation of criminological theories, the use of scientific research methods, and approaches to measuring crime. Students will engage with readings, apply concepts through written assignments and multimedia projects, and participate in online discussions.
