Objective:

To develop the knowledge and skills to manage complex incidents as an incident commander of a Type 2 Incident Management Team.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Describe the role of the Incident Commander (IC) in managing complex extended all-risk incidents
  • Identify the role of the incident commander in preparing and revising the delegation-of-authority analysis, and recognize the appropriate interpersonal and administrative skills for incident management
