Description

Objective:

To introduce students to FAA Order 6000.15E Background Information; Title 49 US Code and FAA Order 6000.30, NAS (National Airspace System) Maintenance Policy; FAA Flight Plan; Concept of Operations (ConOps) Document; general programs and ATO maintenance activities; various documents utilized in the ATO (Air Traffic Organization) maintenance program, document hierarchy, and the guidance they provide and how they will support ATSS (Air Traffic Service Specialist) activities; the use of the various technical forms used in the performance of maintenance activities, procedures and instructions for completing specific logging activities; technical aspects of the ATO maintenance program; types of evaluations and inspections on NAS facilities; requirements for certifications of systems, subsystems and NAS services; personnel safety hazards, information security issues, and safety on airports.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements with the Technical Operations primary policy order, FAA Order 6000.15E, General Maintenance Handbook, and maintenance management theory
