Description

Objective:

To prepare the developmental to enter training at facilities ATC level 10 and higher.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Have demonstrated controller skill sets for a large TRACON to include
  • Vectoring, aircraft recognition, and associated aircraft performance characteristics, issuing clearances, scanning techniques, separation methods speed control, sequencing and compression, and keyboard entries. These skills will be introduced in classroom lecture and reinforced through discussion and high-fidelity simulation exercises using TRACON scenarios with traffic complexity of ATC level 10 and above
