Objective:
The course objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of core concepts the Apostle Paul’s life and ministry. Emphasis is placed on major events in the Bible; the Gospels and the message of Christianity; The conversion of Saul of Tarsus; the writings of Paul; the ministry of Paul; and Paul’s legacy.
This course was produced from a “Faith Based” perspective. As religion is a very personal subject, your perspectives, beliefs and interpretation of this literature may or may not align with the concepts shared herein.

- describe the importance of inspiration, infallibility, and inerrancy of the Bible
- summarize the development of the Old Testament and New Testament canon
- recognize the key text sources for the translation of scripture
- illustrate the structure, message, and harmonization of the four Gospels
- describe the importance of atonement and the difference between Grace and the Old Testament Law
- examine the role of persecution in the expansion of Christianity
- examine the role Paul plays in the expansion of Christianity
- recall the timeline of Paul's ministry from introduction to death using the New Testament writings
- consider the correlation between the Epistles of Paul and the travels and ministry of Paul as outlined in Acts
- recognize the role of the Holy Spirit in the ministry of Paul according to the Epistles
- recall the itinerary and events of Paul's missionary journeys
- recognize the establishment of structure within the local church in Pauline and Pastoral Epistles
- detail the history of Paul, his incarceration, and his legacy
