Description

Objective:

The course objective is to familiarize students with currently taught algebraic vocabulary, symbols, and notation and to solve routine problems requiring basic algebraic skills and non-routine problems demonstrating an understanding of these concepts.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Solve linear and quadratic equations and inequalities
  • Identify and analyze number systems and their operations including sequences, series, and factorials
  • Understanding of algebraic expressions, exponents, factoring, absolute value, and properties of logarithms
  • Interpret functions in forms that include graphs, numerals, and symbols
