Advanced Diagnostics Training - Level 3 (ADT-3) is a 5-day classified training evolution designed as a follow-on course to Advanced Diagnostics Training 2 (Threat Assessment). The course prepares Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team Leaders to conduct threat confirmation actions that provide a Combatant Commander with critical decision space. Practical applications throughout the course focus on planning considerations, data collection techniques utilizing service-issued equipment, the dissemination of required data for technical reach-back determination, and national policy implications.
Team Leaders who complete this course will be capable of strategic-level communication, accurately discerning between materials of concern and weapons of mass destruction to inform senior leadership on required capabilities, force deployment, and the ramifications to US and Foreign relations.
